#3 Karana left the Island of the Blue Dolphins because, sense it had been a long time and she was getting hopeless of seeing the ship. And that she was very lonely with nobody else on the island that, she decide to try to go to the country that was east. If I was Karana I would leave the island. Because it would be a waste of life if you were miserable and lonely like her you wouldn't have anything to believe in ,look forward to in life or you wouldn't know where they were or what life was like in the country if you didn't try .

Karana was looking for iorn spearheads because of a rule that her tribe had to follow that said women could not build weapons. She found lots of pretty jewels in the chest so she put them on and admired herself as she walked down the beach, then she came face to face with the battle feild where her dad died and remembered whos jewels she was wearing so she chucked them into the ocean

ReplyDelete#3 karana wanted to leave the island because she felt even more lonely than before and i would have done the same thing because it made her stronger and cleared her mind when she left and returned to the island.
